Sue Evans
(she/her)

Sue Evans, MBA/MHA, C-IAYT, eRYT500, discovered Yoga over 20 years ago during a stressful time and found the practice to be healing. Now a Certified Yoga Therapist and a 500hr Certified Integral Yoga teacher, she enjoys sharing what she loves with others and witnessing the healing benefits.

She has taught in a variety of local yoga studios, private sessions, corporate settings and led group yoga retreats. Her classes are accessible and playful, incorporating breath and movement with an emphasis on ways to manage stress. Sue enjoys teaching restorative yoga and often partners with local musicians to bring a sound healing experience to students. She teaches a Yoga course at Wake Forest University that combines both the physical practice of yoga with yoga philosophy. She also has additional training to teach yoga to those living with cancer. In collaboration with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, she has been involved with several federally funded yoga research projects involving those living with cancer and MS.  She is the mother to two young men and loves to be on the back of a horse or with her pups when not on a Yoga mat.
