Ouida (she/her) is a native of Winston-Salem, attended local schools and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Salem College. Her body began speaking to her early in life, and when she was ready, she began to study its communications. These studies have included Healing Touch, Reiki, Niasziih, Herbalism, and Mindfulness. Ouida received certifications in Usui Reiki l & ll, Mindfulness, Herbal Medicine Making, Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy and Mind-Body Coaching. She is currently exploring Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and Resonance Language. Ouida is a seeker.

Her journey has led her to her life’s work and purpose, which is supporting others on their journeys. Ouida is LOVE.

Her work utilizes wisdom from nature, energy traditions, Somatic (related to the body) Coaching, mindfulness and the metaphysical, culminating in a specialized experience. Ouida believes that our bodies were created with the ability to heal themselves, if we provide what it is they need. Most often the needs are compassion, acceptance and self-love. Ouida is here to be of service.

Apart from her work at 18 Springs, she owns WiseHeart LLC, where she sees clients virtually and sells herbal tisanes (teas) and seasonal remedies.
