For millennia the sound of drums beckoned people to gather in community for spiritual practice, celebration, mourning. To Connect and to Heal.

Over the last two years, our lives have been radically affected by events which, for many, have wrought Disconnection through division, anger, fear, and loss.

Yet we are here, and Drum invites our Reconnection!

Join Naomi Baker for the Healing Rhythms Shamanic Drum Circle Series, a 3-part healing workshop which utilizes hand drums, movement, indigenous Hawai’ian and First Nation ceremonial practices to aid the healing process.

Each week the sound of drums will create a path for individual and group healing journeys. This workshop begins with finding our personal rhythm then blending all those beautiful vibrations into one powerful voice.

The Healing Rhythms Shamanic Drum Circle Series comprises 3 specific teachings which build upon themselves to encourage healing and personal growth.

The science of drumming. Creating a successful Healing Circle

Part 2. Healing Our Ancestors

Healing 7 generations of lineage through breath work, drumming and Water Ceremony

Part 3. Healing Ourselves

Healing our Sacred Self through breath work, drumming and Fire Ceremony

When:  October 9th, 16th, and 23rd, 1-3 pm (3-part course)

Where: 18 Springs Community Healing Center, 2424 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem

Cost:   $80. Advance registration is required. Space is limited.
